Debra had been pen pals with Kenny Ray Fairley for over 11 years when she took it upon herself to fight for his release from serving life in San Quentin. Debra produced and directed this short documentary in which she also co-starts. “Life After Life” had it’s world premier on 9/14/09 at the SoCal Film Festival, one year after Kenny’s release.
